Jesus’s friends thought their lives had changed for the worst. What they didn’t know was how dramatically their lives were about to shift.  Imagine being one of these desolate, grieving friends of Jesus, all your hopes dashed, all your dreams buried in a cave with your Lord.

Then, an entirely new world erupts. The landscape is calm, the shouts of “Crucify, crucify” are gone. No sound is heard of nails being driven through quivering flesh or weeping and groans from compassionate friends. The storm is over, and a strange new peace permeates the atmosphere. The Victor over the old curse is ready to make His triumphal appearance!

Resurrection day is without a doubt the day that changed everything for the laides at the tomb, for the disciples, and for US!
