A Note from Pastor Myke
Dear church family and friends! First, I want to say thanks for your generosity this year and in years past. Though we seldom have surplus, the Lord has never left us dry in terms of finances, due to your faithfulness in giving! That said, this summer has been an especially challenging summer for us in terms of finances. Summers are challenging for most churches (hence the phrase ‘The Summer Slump’), but this summer we’ve had to dip into our reserves on more than one occasion and have depleted a significant portion of those reserves as we’ve fallen short on giving over the past few months. As the Lord leads, I would like to ask that you prayerfully consider giving to help make up this shortfall. For some of you, this may mean an additional one-time gift. For others, it may mean taking a Next Step to start giving for the first time. Whatever the case, we ask that you give as – and only as – the Lord leads. Again, thank you for your faithfulness and for your generosity! And thanks for supporting our mission to bring expositional Bible teaching to our community and beyond! Remember: Your Life + God’s Word = REAL change! In Christ alone! Pastor Myke MONTHLY SUMMARY August Giving (MTD): $ 5,047.00 Monthly Budget Needs:$ 6,500.00 For more infomation visit:

New Teaching Series! From Ruin to Redemption: The Book of Ruth The Book of Ruth is a beautiful story of love, loyalty, and redemption. One of only two books in the Bible named after a woman (also Esther), this masterpiece tells the story of the salvation of Ruth, the Moabitess, and symbolically illustrates the salvation and faithful love that is available to all of those who will call upon the name of God’s Son, illustrated by Boaz, the Kinsmen Redeemer, in the Book of Ruth. Through her relationship with her mother-in-law Naomi, Ruth learned about the living God and became His devoted follower. Abandoning her family and homeland, she demonstrated both her love for her widowed mother-in-law and her faith in Israel’s God. Her faith was well placed, for God not only provided for her but also placed her in the messianic family line of King David and, ultimately, Jesus! Join us as we study four short but powerful chapters that remind us of God’s faithful love and devotion to His covenant people!! For more infomation visit:
