Learn more about Pastor Terry

I am a pastor and elder, and I also work closely with the Worship Team's Audio/Visual department to provide backup support.

Since 2017

I retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of service because the pentagon was my next assignment stop (I had already avoided it twice previously).

I've also worked as the Macon Telegraph’s Research Manager and Macon State College/Middle Georgia State University Testing Director.

I have walked on five of the seven continents—Australia is still on the bucket list but Antarctica ain’t happening ever!

I'm married to my cute, little wife Judy, and we have a daughter (Laura) and son (Brent), as well as an adopted son (Danzel).

He has told you, O man, what is good;
    and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
    and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8, ESV)

 Anywhere on the Appalachian Trail—enough said!

Making sawdust and hiking.

I am the operations manager at the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center that opened in August 2016.  We are a one-stop-shop for veterans services focusing on education, employment and entrepreneurship.  The GA VECTR Center is the first of its kind in the nation and I am very grateful to be a part of an awesome team here.
