Phyllis Hicks

I sing in the worship team (vocals),  lead the VBS ministry,  and I am involved in outreach both here and around the globe. 

I was involved with BCC during the early days of this church plant,  and supported the ministry from the very beginning.  I have been an active member for about 4 or 5 years. 

I love my life of adventure.  This is a big world and as long as possible I want to experience and feel the magic it provides.

My husband is Robert.  We have 2 children,  Amber and Christie.  We have 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  I am truly blessed among women! 

My favorite verse is 1Peter 1:3, NIV

In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

I love steak and lobster!  Yum!  Yum! 

Daytona!  My entire family meets there once a year for a wonderful family vacation.  It doesn't get much better than that! 

I love white water rafting,  baseball,  and,  of course,  watching my GA Bulldogs.

I am a registered nurse for a large hospital group in middle GA.  My childhood dream was to be a nurse.  There is a special moment in nursing when the patient is able to trust you. When I feel this moment it gives me great joy!  It's very hard work,  but the rewards are wonderful!
